Trim Levels (Exterior)
The E-Series Cutaway comes in the E-350 SRW, E-350 DRW, and the E-450 DRW. All of these come with black-painted bumpers, a black grille, automatic headlights, and telescoping exterior mirrors. The E-350 SRW has single rear wheels, and the DRW models have dual rear wheels. Chrome bumpers and a chrome grille are optional for all models, and you can also add door-length running boards and manually-adjustable telescoping tow mirrors. The E-Series is also available as a Stripped Chassis without anybody at all. This model is a frame and a drive train that will accommodate different body styles, such as commercial vehicles or campers.
Engine (Power)
The standard engine for all the E-Series trucks is a 7.3-liter V-8 gas engine that generates 325 horsepower and gets 450 pound-feet of torque. The engine features a single-overhead-cam design to help optimize power, and it works with a six-speed automatic transmission. The optional 7.3-liter V-8 economy will put out 300 horsepower and get 425 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Ford specially designed the E-Series automatic transmission to handle the demands of this heavy-duty cutaway vehicle. The E-350 SRW can accommodate a 5,140-pound payload, and the DRW version can handle up to a 7,560 payload. The E-450 DRW can handle up to a 9,040 payload. When equipped, the E-Series Cutaway can tow up to 10,000 pounds.
Interior
Inside the E-Series cabin, there is room for two people. It comes standard with air conditioning, vinyl floor coverings, cloth upholstery, and a front dome lamp. Ford offers an optional factory-installed upfitter interface that will connect to a laptop or tablet. It can connect electrical equipment, and you can program the switches to operate aftermarket equipment. You'll also get some technology features in the E-Series. It comes with an AM/FM stereo, Bluetooth, and USB ports. It also offers a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to ten devices, and Ford Telematics is available.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Ford E-Series comes with hill start assist, a full suite of airbags, electronic stability control, and anti-lock brakes. A number of advanced driver aids are available for the Ford E-Series. You can get it with a forward collision warning system with automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights.
Lane-departure warning is available along with a driver alert system that will send an extra alert to the driver to make sure they realize one of the safety systems has been activated. A rearview camera is also available, and you can get remote keyless entry and the SecuriLock anti-theft system.
