Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2022 Ford E-Series is available in three trim levels: E-350 Single-Rear-Wheel Cutaway, E-350 Dual-Rear-Wheel Cutaway, and E-450 Dual-Rear-Wheel Cutaway. The standard features of the E-Series include a black bumper, dual sealed-beam headlights with a fixed lens, a black grille, telescoping exterior mirrors, and 16-inch wheels. Optional features include chrome or white bumper, front license plate bracket, chrome grille, manual telescopic trailer tow mirrors with manual or power adjust, daytime running lights, and door-length running boards.
The E-Series offer several packages to arrive ready for business. These packages include an ambulance, motor home, school bus, shuttle bus, and multi-function school activity bus. You can also get a High-Series Exterior Upgrade package for a unique appearance. The Trailer Towing package for Class I towing is also available.
Engine (Power)
Ford offers two engines for the 2022 E-Series. The standard engine is a 7.3-liter V-8 premium engine matched to Ford Torqshift automatic transmission. This engine delivers 325 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. An option for all three trims of the E-Series is a 7.3-liter V-8 economy-rated engine mated to the same transmission. If you opt for this engine, you'll save on fuel but sacrifice power a little. You can expect 300 horsepower and 425 pound-feet of torque on the economy-rated V-8.
Performance
The 2022 Ford E-Series offers many performance-enhancing features, starting with the standard rear-wheel-drive system designed to improve hauling performance. You also get the traction control to help keep you on your intended path. Hill start assist is also standard to automatically apply the brakes briefly when starting up a hill to keep you from rolling backward. Optional features include an engine block heater, a heavy-duty 78-Amp-Hr battery, and a driveshaft upgrade.
Interior
Step inside the 2022 Ford E-Series for a commercial vehicle built with your comfort and convenience in mind.
