2024 Ford F-150 vs Ram 1500

2024 Ford F-150 vs 2024 RAM 1500

Several incredible new pickup trucks are available for the 2024 model year, but the Ford F-150 and the Ram 1500 tend to stand out from the rest. Find out why.

Towing Capacity

One of the most important features of any pickup truck is towing capacity, and neither of these vehicles disappoint in that regard. While the Ram 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds when properly equipped, the new Ford F-150 manages to offer even more capability, with a stunning maximum towing capacity of 13,500 pounds, which is the best in its class.

Payload Capacity

You shouldn't always need to hook up a trailer to bring some extra items with you on your next adventure. Simply use the bed of your truck. The F-150 can handle a payload of up to 2,455 pounds.

The Ram 1500's payload capacity is impressive too, but it doesn't quite measure up, reaching just 2,300 pounds.

BlueCruise

Ford BlueCruise is a unique feature of the F-150 that lets you enjoy hands-free highway driving, making long trips easier than ever before. With BlueCruise version 1.2, you can even enjoy stunning capabilities like lane change assist that will automatically change lanes for you with a simple tap of the turn signal.

The Ram 1500's safety and convenience features are comprehensive, but they're not quite on this level yet, as the Ram doesn't offer anything similar to BlueCruise.

While both of these trucks have plenty to offer, the 2024 Ford F-150 stands as a shining achievement of pickup truck design.
